Mike Marrotte is Founder and CEO of M Squared Sales and Marketing LLC. Specializing in the natural/organic food sector, his core competency is helping high growth brands reduce their learning curve, accelerate profitable revenue and reduce risk by providing leadership, strategic direction, business planning and execution support. He has helped many brands attain national distribution across multiple customer channels. Mr. Marrotte is also a partner with ilevel Brands Inc, a national contract sales management company focused in the natural/organic brand arena. He has developed deep relationships throughout the industry and works closely with these colleagues to deliver exponential value for each client.

Mr. Marrotte has over 30 years of CPG industry experience leading manufacturers, distributors and retailers. For over 5 years, he served as the Vice President of Sales and Customer Service for United Natural Foods, North America’s leading natural, organic and specialty food distributor.  He managed $2.5B in revenue and led a team of 180 sales and customer service associates across 36 states. During his tenure, the business grew over $1B with gross profit increasing 38%. He started his career at Procter & Gamble Distributing Company and progressed through their sales leadership program.

He has held senior sales leadership positions for Ralston Purina Pet Foods and Pinnacle Foods Inc. where he led his teams to record sales achievements. His background also includes senior level positions in the retail supermarket side of the business with BI-LO Inc and Ahold USA in category management, merchandising and marketing in the grocery, dairy, frozen and perishable departments.

His areas of expertise include innovative thinking, strategic planning, product marketing, new business development, sales leadership, supply chain efficiencies, category management and organizational design. Mr. Marrotte holds a B.S. degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
